Rev. Charles Shaddix - A native of Lanett, Alabama, Charles Shaddix joined the staff of First Baptist Hartselle in the spring of 1994 as the Minister of Music and Senior Adults. Bro. Charles has served as a Minister of Music in Baptist churches in Alabama and Mississippi since 1971.
After graduating from Valley High School, he attended Auburn University where he received the Bachelor of Music degree in 1976. Bro. Charles furthered his education and preparation for ministry as a student at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he received the Master of Church Music degree in 1979. During the thirty plus years he has served as a Minister of Music, Bro. Charles has had the privilege of serving six fine congregations. He enjoys greatly the opportunity of leading people to come into the presence of the Lord through meaningful times of praise and worship.
Bro. Charles is active in Baptist life beyond his local church as a member of the Alabama Singing Men and the Alabama Baptist Education Music Association. He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries for eight years.
Bro. Charles, his wife, Jenny, and daughter, Chrissy, enjoy spending time together as a family. Their free time often finds them involved together in some activity around their home or in their community. Bro. Charles also enjoys playing an occasional game of golf, reading a good book, and following his favorite college team -- the Auburn Tigers!

Rev. Jeffrey Albright with his wife Amber. Jeffrey Albright joined First Baptist Hartselle in June of 2011. He grew up in Decatur, AL. Jeffrey graduated from Athens State University in 2006 with a double major in Religion & Psychology. In 2008, Jeffrey married the love of his life, Amber Michelle Huff. He recently just completed his seminary studies at Luther Rice Theological Seminary with a Master of Christian Education (May 2010) & a Master of Divinity (May 2012). Jeffrey is continuing his education with Luther Rice by pursing a Doctorate of Ministry.
Jeffrey trusted Christ at the age of twelve and began serving in ministry at the age of seventeen at his home church Southside Baptist. Since then, he has served as a pastor to children, students & families. God has placed a HUGE desire in Jeffrey’s heart to challenge students to become Godly young Men and Women who are willing to serve the Lord (1 Tim 4:12).
When Jeffrey is away from the office, you can usually find him doing one of the following things: hanging out with family & friends, working on some new project, or cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide. ROLL TIDE!!!
